Pennsylvania
Dental Hygienists’ Association
To improve the public’s total health, the mission of the PDHA is to advance the art and science of dental hygiene by increasing the awareness of and ensuring access to cost-effective quality oral health care, thus promoting the highest standards of dental hygiene education, licensure, practice and research while representing and promoting the interests of dental hygienists.
Our association has finished its work on the newly revised PDHA Strategic Plan. This information is available to members only. If you would like a copy of the plan, to learn more about these strategies or volunteer to help with specific action plans, please contact your local trustee or committee chair.
Thank you for your membership; all things on this plan are possible because of our members.
Copies can be requested by contacting PDHA Central Office.
PDHA Goals:
1. Advocacy: PDHA advocates for the profession and the interests of dental hygienists throughout their careers.
2. Autonomy: PDHA promotes autonomy.
3. Alliances: PDHA supports integration and collaboration.

President-Elect
Coming to you as the President-Elect is both an honor and a privilege.
I want to express my gratitude to each and every one of you who has dedicated your time, skills and energy to the Pennsylvania Dental Hygienists’ Association. Your unwavering dedication is what continues to drive us forward. Together, we are the embodiment of change and the driving force behind progress.
I also want to recognize the power of leadership within our organization. Each and every one of us has the potential to be a leader, to inspire others and create lasting change. Leadership is not a title, but a power that can be harnessed by anyone who is passionate about our mission. Together, we will create a culture of mentorship and empowerment to nurture leadership.
In the coming months and years, we will work to expand our outreach, deepen our impact and adapt to the evolving needs of our community. We will continue to build partnerships and collaborations, strengthen our volunteer base and ensure the sustainability of our organization for generations to come.
