To All Southwest Component Members

The Southwest Component is in the process of organizing its committees and chair positions for the 2021 year. It is searching for any interested members to serve on its various committees and fill two vacant chair positions.

The committees are as follows:

  • Continuing Education
  • Government Relations
  • Membership
  • Public Health
  • Public Relations

The two chair positions are as follows:

The duties for serving on any committee would be to assist the chair on local matters for the SW area. The GR Chair duties would entail working on a local level as the point person under the guidance of the PDHA GR Chair. The duties for the Component Administrative Chair position involve overseeing all committees, communicating with all component members and conducting component meetings via zoom, to name a few. (See the attached guidelines for more specific responsibilities).
