General Info/Hotel Reservations

Each year, the Pennsylvania Dental Hygienists’ Association, Inc. hosts a business meeting in collaboration with a continuing education conference at alternating locations around the state.  The business of the association is conducted here and many hygienists are in attendance. There is also great opportunity to earn most of the CE credits required for license renewal.


Plan on attending the 94th Annual Pennsylvania Dental Hygienists’ Association, Inc. Annual Session and Keystone Dental Health Conference – November 2-5, 2017 in Lancaster, PA.  This event will be held at the Lancaster Marriott at Penn Square.  If you would like to download and print this information, please click on the links below.

Registrants should indicate on the registration form which educational sessions and social events they plan to attend. Two payment options are available: check (payable to PDHA) or Credit Card. If paying with a check, appropriate fees must be remitted with the completed registration form to the Pennsylvania Dental Hygienists’ Association, Inc., Central Office, PO Box 606, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055. Registrations must be postmarked by October 10, 2017. Registration fee is $20. If you miss the deadline, you must register on-site at the conference hotel. Please see ON-SITE REGISTRATION below.

On-site registration allows for course space as available on a first-come, first-served basis. Special Events will NOT be available for on-site registration. On-site registration will be available at the hotel beginning Thursday at noon at the PDHA registration desk. Fee is $35. (Cash, check, or Credit Card accepted)

STUDENT REGISTRATION Each student who attends the conference will be required to pay a registration fee. Each student attending the Friday Student ADHA events will also be required to pay the Student ADHA event fee. This fee includes, the Student ADHA meeting and lunch, and the “Get Your Glow On” Reception. See Student ADHA registration form.

CONTINUING EDUCATION HANDOUTS Handouts for this year’s courses will be posted on line on the PDHA website. Prior to annual session, you will receive an email with a personal link to the handout(s) for the course(s) you are attending. Please download or print your handouts and bring them to your course(s). You are permitted to bring your laptop to the course in order to access the handouts, however, power outlets/strips will not be permitted. The handouts will be available on the link until November 15, 2017. A hardcopy will not be distributed at the course. Please be sure to provide your email address on the registration form to be able to attain the link needed. The links will not be public knowledge.

GUESTS There is no registration fee for guests but they are to sign the registration book and will receive a badge. Registrants may have non-RDHs as their guests who may attend social functions for the appropriate fee. Guests are welcome to join us for Corporate Exhibits, Table Clinics, Marketplace and the business sessions of PDHA.

ATTIRE Business attire is appropriate for any time during Annual Session, Student ADHA Meeting and the Keystone Dental Health Conference.

Registrants may cancel from the conference without penalty if written cancellation is received by October 16, 2017. Written cancellations received after October 16 and by October 31, will be subject to a $30.00 processing charge. Cancellations on or after October 31 will receive no refund. Refund checks will be mailed 4-6 weeks after the conclusion of Annual Session.

Credit Card Information
Attendees can now register and make their payment for the PDHA Annual Session and the Keystone Dental Health Conference with a credit card. Please visit our online registration page to submit your credit card payment.

You must make your hotel reservations directly with Lancaster Marriott at Penn Square, 25 South Queen Street, Lancaster, Pennsylvania 17603 by calling 1-717-239-1600 or 800-940-4627. Please mention the Pennsylvania Dental Hygienists’ Association (PDHA) when calling.

October 10, 2017. After this date, any reservations made with the hotel will not be guaranteed the PDHA room rate. Cancellations must be made directly with the hotel.

ROOM RATE $130.00 (plus 11% tax) single/double/triple/quad. First night deposit required or guarantee with a credit card. Please ask for more detailed information on the rooms when you make the reservation. Check- in time is 3:00pm and check-out time is 12noon.

PARKING fee is $10.00 per day (discounted rate for PDHA.)
Overnight guests will have in and out access for their entire stay (from the Penn Square Garage at 28 South Duke Street, only) but day attendees will not. As a guest of the hotel there are reserved parking spaces in the Penn Square Garage; and when checking in at the front desk, the agent will validate your parking ticket for the remainder of your stay. Day attendees will pay as you come and go.
